It is fair to say that in the field of EOD, Alford Technologies are now the world leaders in both conventional munitions disposal (CMD) and IEDD.

The biggest distingushing feature between our products and virtually everyone else's is that none of ours contain explosives. When sold: they are all supplied as empty charge containers that may be thought of as "force multipliers", in other words, putting standard bulk explosives in our containers enhances and controls the effects of the force available, so you can get a better result using less explosive. It is a growing market niche as users become multi-role and safety issues and legislations restrict the use of explosives, and in many ways, it is a market that Alford Technologies created and pioneered.
