Gatecrasher filming - 21 November 2011

Sidney spent a very chilly, long weekend outside the village of Stod in the Czech Republic where the food was awful, the beer good and the brandy very good. The coldest of the weather was exacerbated by his having forgotten it was winter when he packed. The purpose of his visit was nevertheless achieved viz demonstrating the penetrating power of the Gatecrasher and the lifting power of the Bootbanger and the other diverse powers of other diverse devices for the edification of the German public to whom his efforts were shortly to be shown by Galileo.

 
Alford's choose Felix Fund as official charity - 15 October 2011

Alford's have recently decided to make the newly formed Felix Fund - the Bomb Disposal Charity - our official charity. We are hosting two EOD awareness days which were auctioned at an initial fundraising event and are sponsoring the Alford Fundraising Plate which will be awarded anually to the military group that has raised the most money for the charity in the last 12 months.

Sidney assisted BBC presenter Jem Stansfield on Bang goes the Theory....This science programme aimed at family entertainment went on air week beginning 28th March 2011 and concerned the subject of energy and how it is measured.
