Alfords acquired Broadmead Ranges in late 2006 and since then it has taken over as our main explosive site where we conduct most of our R&D, demonstrations and training.

Set in a disused limestone quarry, the range has blast pits, bunkers, breaching jigs, high speed cameras and a high enough NEQ to allow us to conduct virtually all our testing in-house. This provides a highly flexible range suitable for small to medium sized trials.

The range is now used by customers including the UK MoD as it is conveniently situated close to transport hubs, and is available for hire at short-notice.
