MajorMod™
The MajorMod™ is a medium-sized explosively driven water disruptor for use against medium-sized IEDs. Using patented technology MajorMod produces a shaped charge using sheet explosive or detonating cord as the propellant and water as the projectile.
It shares the same form and geometry as an MLVD™ module but is half the length, making it the ideal disruptor for mounting on a mini ROV or for carrying on the person. The loaded charge weighs 4kg (9 lb) with a maximum NEQ of 230g.
