The Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) Kit provides EOD Operators and Bomb Technicians with a comprehensive set of explosive charges to fulfil a wide range of complex IEDD tasks. This capability kit includes five user-filled charge types and a range of stands, detonator cord clips, projectiles, and adhesive tapes to support placement at the chosen target. A standard, pre-built kit is available. However, kits can also be tailored according to your needs, the threat faced, and the type of explosives used in your territory. Kit components include:
- Water-tamped explosive charges
- Omnidirectional charges
- Shaped charges with a variety of projectiles
- Tamped strip charges
- Copper-lined linear cutting charges
- Projectiles and accessories

Water-Tamped Explosive Charges
The IEDD Kit contains a range of water-tamped explosive charges used against small to medium-sized Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). All of which are engineered using our proven, patented technology.
The charges are shaped charges that use sheet explosive, plastic explosive or detonating cord as the propellent and water as the projectile.
Omnidirectional Charges
You can choose two types of omnidirectional charge: Bottler and Bottler Lite, with multiple sizes of each available. Bottler Lite allows for fixed explosive loads with more precise explosive effects.
Shaped Charges
You can choose two different sizes of shaped charge. Various projectiles and nozzles are available for each charge, which are interchangeable, depending upon requirements. They are used for point-focal accuracy versus IEDs and deflagration or detonation of UXO.
Tamped Strip Charges
You can deploy Alford Strip charges as straight lengths or configure them as a frame charge using the corner and t-joint pieces. Charges are filled with an inert water-based gel, which enhances tamping and minimises fragmentation. Alford Strip is provided in 25mm and 42mm diameters.
Copper Lined Linear-Cutting Charges
The renowned Dioplex charge is designed for linear cutting tasks in the EOD environment and is available in 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 22mm, 30mm, and 40mm diameters and 0.5 metre and 1-metre lengths.
Dioplex is used to cut steel plate or structural components and concrete that contains rebar. Commercial demolition teams use Dioplex in 60mm and 80mm diameters.
Projectiles and Accessories
Numerous projectiles and nozzles are available for all shaped charges, providing the versatility required for various applications.
The smaller water-tamped charges have leg stands that allow them to be rotated as necessary. Charge arrays can be configured for larger targets. Frames can be constructed from strip charges, corner pieces, and T-joints.
Optional Extras
Add the VBIED Kit option to give the greater capability of tackling vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED).
