Action from the Navy Tech event

Navy Tech & Seabed Defence 2026

Event date: 03 Feb 2026 - 05 Feb 2026

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Naval forces worldwide are adjusting to complex, evolving threats, including uncrewed systems, anti-ship weapons, cyber attacks, and seabed challenges. As adversaries modernise rapidly, navies must evolve physically, conceptually, and culturally to maintain operational advantages across all maritime domains, including beneath the surface.

Navy Tech 2026 will be held from 3 to 5 February in Gothenburg, Sweden. This year’s event will focus on Seabed Defence, emphasising the protection of undersea infrastructure and offshore assets. As global reliance on subsea energy networks and communication cables increases, safeguarding the seabed has become crucial. The event will explore emerging threats and the technological innovations needed to address them.

This tabletop exhibition and conference brings together experts, including speakers, program managers, frontline commanders, engineers, scientists, and industry leaders. Over three days of presentations and discussions, attendees will examine how digital integration, expeditionary design, multi-domain operations, and seabed security are reshaping the maritime battlespace. The event promotes collaboration among military, industry, and research sectors to enhance decision-making, identify capability gaps, and accelerate innovation in naval and subsea warfare.
