Embracing Change, Treasuring Legacy

Central to the rebranding is a refreshed visual identity that embodies Alford Technologies' core values of reliability, innovation, and trust. 

The Alford logo has gone through several evolutions since it’s first introduction in 2000. The central feature of the hand grenade/globe emitting flames was inspired partly by the traditional grenadier badge of a flaming bomb, but it was specifically modelled on the door knocker handmade by Dr Sidney Alford out of a WW2 US, “Pineapple” Grenade, which he found in a ditch as a boy.

Throughout the logo's subsequent revisions, the grenade has remained largely unchanged while modernising and refreshing the overall design. In the modern world of mobile devices and social media, a simpler logo that could be used in very small sizes was required The latest iteration of the Alford logo reduces Alford to the letter A and features a simpler flame and redrawn grenade/globe. This makes it fit for the world of social media and symbolises our commitment to cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking solutions, while honouring the past.

Beyond aesthetics, the rebranding signifies Alford Technologies' expanded focus on diversification and global reach.
