The Mine Neutralisation Belt™ (MNB) is a non-magnetic webbing belt for securing a Vulcan™ shaped charge against a naval mine for underwater neutralisation. The belt wraps around the mine casing; two 1kg weights provide negative buoyancy to keep it settled against the hull during placement. Two Vulcan Mine Belt Adaptors secure the Vulcan charge and its Underwater Stand-off Capsule at the correct stand-off distance and orientation for the shot. Non-magnetic throughout, the MNB does not influence magnetic-influence mines or risk triggering fuzes during approach or attachment. Covered in our EOD, IEDD & Maritime EOD training.
